In light of the recent lockdown announcement, we wanted to share with you what our restaurants up are up to to continue to deliver the restaurant experience at home. We have included those who are offering delivery and make at home dishes as well as where/how to get some great drinks delivered to the door too. It would be great if you’re able to consider the below for any lockdown V2.o bits you might be working on over the next few weeks, and I’ll be sure to update you with any developments.

Funk - Opened just 2 weeks ago on Columbia Road, cheese lovers will be able to get a slice/wedge of The Cheese Bar experience at Funk, a cheese and wine shop from the team behind The Cheese Bar and Pick & Cheese. Up to 30 British cheeses and wines will be available with staff on hand to make recommendations of the perfect pairings for your at home cheeseboards.
 
Also available at the store (as well as online for delivery or collection here), will be their ready made cheeseboards, charcuterie and fon-due it yourself DIY kits. Cheese boxes are creatively named with everything you could need for an at home cheese and wine night, the ‘Beer Boy’ with 3 x British cheeses and paired craft beers, the ‘Beasty Boy’ with 5 x cheeses, Crown & Cue charcuterie, olives and preserves and the ’Santa Baby’, a collection of festive classics for those looking to get in the Christmas spirit.

Town-Send 

 
Townsend at Whitechapel Gallery will be continuing their Town-Send meal delivery service throughout lockdown 2.0. Nick Gilkinson and Head Chef Joe Fox have created an online shop which features carefully sourced fresh produce, DIY recipe boxes and well as a gourmet ready 3 course set menu which comes complete with wine.
 
Dishes on their Autumn delivery menu include slow-cooked pork belly, turnips, white beans and apple grain mustard; potato dumplings, potted brown shrimp and coastal herbs and pavlova with poached pears, white chocolate and candied hazelnuts to finish. For those looking to get their Sunday roast fix, they also deliver roast boxes with the option of roast beef, chicken or paddock farm pork belly.

Ampéli At Home 
 
Ampéli restaurant in Fitzrovia are launching Ampéli At Home, a brand-new finish at home delivery menu which is centred around a series of seasonal feast boxes delivered directly to doorsteps in London. Made for groups of two or more, these feast boxes are accompanied by a selection of seasonal Greek wines from Ampéli’s latest list and are designed to take guests on a tasting journey each box contains a selection of warming autumnal dishes which regularly feature on tables across Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean.  
 
A showcase of Ampéli’s new autumn menu, each box contains a selection of warming dishes which regularly feature on tables across Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. Each menu starts with a choice of two social plates – including Ampeli favourites such as Salt cod croquettes; pulled beef croquettes with harissa mayo; roasted cauliflower with labneh, green olive tapenade and pine nuts. The main event is a sharing dish - diners will be given a choice of either Roasted Monkfish, braised fennel, courgette, ouzo aioli and fish soup or a slow cooked Lamb shoulder souvlaki, zhoug, citrus potatoes and feta dressing. To finish Ampéli’s chefs have created a delivery version of their Rizogalo – a Greek rice pudding with cinnamon and blackcurrant preserve or a mixed nut baklava cigar with mountain tea syrup.

Gunpowder DIY Kits
 
Gunpowder will be launching their DIY kits for UK mainland delivery, enabling fans to recreate a number of their signature dishes at home. Choose from either a full rack of BBQ Pork Ribs, Tandoori Chicken or their famous Kashmiri Lamb Chops - each box will contain all the elements needed to create the signature dishes as well as their mustard malai broccoli and tandoori new potatoes, perfect at home for two to share. For those who lack faith in their own cooking abilities, Gunpowder will also be offering delivery and collection of their full menu via Deliveroo.
 
Levan To Go
 
Peckham restaurant Levan has launched their Autumn edition of Levan To Go which features a number of the restaurants most popular dishes as well as a complete three course 'a la carte' at home experience for the perfect date night at home.  Comprised of simple but well executed snacks, starters, main courses and desserts, starters include Caramelised onion brioche; Smoked cod's roe, carrots, rye; Chicken liver parfait with plum jam and fennel salami with cornichons. For mains November’s menu is beef bourguigoun; Hereford featherblade, braised in red wine with pancetta, mushrooms and shallots and served with roast celeriac and green salad.
Nicholas has also devised a vegetarian menu which features a selection of their favourite vegetarian dishes including the Levan potato, oyster mushroom & Vacherin pie – available as a half or whole pie.  
 
To finish, the team have reworked their favourite desserts such as their Tarte tatin – available as a whole or half.

OPSO at Home
 
OPSO in Marylebone are launching their delivery service ‘OPSO at home’ - centred around a special menu of home-cooked authentic Greek dishes from executive chefs Georgianna Hiliadaki and Nikos Roussos.  Available to order via the OPSO website it features signature dishes such as Tzatziki, Dakos Salad, Chicken Lemonato - Roasted chicken thigh with lemon-oregano gravy and creamy potato mash; Beef Stifado - Braised beef shin with onions and sweet onion gravy; and Spanakorizo - Spinach rice pilaf with fresh herbs and barrel matured feta cheese. 
 
Alongside dishes, OPSO at home will also be offering a selection of Greek wines to accompany your meal. Available throughout the week delivered to doorsteps in Marylebone and nearby neighbourhoods.

Two Tribes Lockdown 
 
Lockdown V2 may have implemented another travel ban, but ‘just cause you can’t travel doesn’t mean you can’t take a trip around the world’ - at least that’s what London based brewery Two Tribes say. They are offering a world tour in liquid form via their Metroland World Tour box, available to purchase from the website here. The box contains a selection of the Metroland beers which capture the essence of someone the world’s busiest metropolises, and are available for delivery nationwide.

The Sorting Table 
 
The Sorting Table, a new delivery platform founded by Ben Henshaw, UK wine writer Jamie Goode, sommelier Paz Levinson and Raj Parr star of Netflix's SOMM series, which aims to redefine fine wine by bringing carefully selected wines directly to doorsteps across the UK.For their opening range, Ben and his team have tasted their way through hundreds of contenders to make their initial selection of 220 bottles, many of which have only previously been available in restaurants. The initial range is sourced from passionate winemakers who are crafting compelling examples, at an accessible price.
